The Aspen Park Metropolitan District provides water, wastewater, and stormwater services necessary for commercial customers at The Village at Conifer - Aspen Park Shopping Center. Here, in the value of land and water is a commitment to providing a permanent, sustainable water supply to support full development of the District. The Aspen Park Metropolitan District supports preserving the quality of our mountain environment, and the water used by the District is returned to the South Turkey Creek Basin, ensuring a truly sustainable water supply. Board meetings are held on the third Tuesday of February, May, August and November at 10:00 a.m. via video teleconference. Annual meetings are not applicable. The Board is comprised of Rick Merkel (term expires May 2027), Michael Tamblyn (term expires May 2027) and Roxan Rose (term expires May 2029). There are two vacancies. Overlapping governmental entities are the County General Fund, Elk Creek Fire District, Law Enforce Authority, R1 School General Fund and Regional Transportation District. Matters of an emergent nature do NOT include emergencies, which should be directed to the appropriate emergency personnel by contacting 9-1-1, or matters which can wait until regular business hours, which should be addressed via the above contact information.
